Happy February
I’m carrying a note as I say this to you. These words seem to be rolling happily off my tongue. Kind of like the end of the slide; Weeee. You would think it’s my birthday today, but that’s a little ways away. I am celebrating who I am, not just for one special day, but for a whole month. Well 28 days to be exact, the next leap year is 2024.
24/7, 365 days a year, and for one whole month I get to share my love of lineage with others. These are people who may share my kinship, care to learn of kinships, or just enjoy history being so present.
Happy Black History Month
I wish I could have been a little more prepared. As if I didn’t know February was gonna come around this year; /. I had some things ready, but I’m still getting them out.
Some of the new items I have are coffee cups, postcards, stickers, notebooks, and a few other things. I was so proud of myself when I got my first HBHM post out on the first day. Yay! and Weeee.
I can tell my skills are improving, my Pinterest feedback says the eyeballs are looking anyway. I realize I have to keep showing up in places and maybe people will start getting comfortable enough to buy. That’s asking a lot from an introvert. For now, I’m working on brand recognition, just getting the product out there, and showing the goods I believe are of value.
I’m hoping those in the education industry may need regular access to Vintage Black American figural representation. Definitely something for presentation enhancement. Surely the regular Arts and Crafts groups could use some updating of their supplies.
My dearest project is for Minerva May Creations products to be used by families. I have Family History Activity books rolling out and I would love to hear the stories that can be matched up with the Good Stock/ 2D Folk.
Take a look around, and find the perfect character to help in telling your family stories.
